Half-Day Intensives in Reno, NV
Designed for couples, families, or any 2–3 people in a relational dynamic who want to address core issues in a single, focused session
Duration: 4-5 hours, with built-in breaks
Focus: One or two pressing relationship issues, not exhaustive therapy
Structure: Individual + joint work + planning
Goal: Rapid clarity, actionable next steps, and a safe, supportive space for honest dialogue
What to Expect:
-
A therapy intensive offers focused, uninterrupted time to work on the most important relational challenges you’re facing - whether with a partner, family member, or any important relationship. The extended format allows you to slow down, understand patterns in depth, and begin making meaningful changes within a shorter period of time, and without a long-term committment.
What makes an intensive different:
Momentum instead of stop-and-start: Longer sessions reduce the disruption of weekly scheduling, helping insights and emotional shifts build naturally rather than resetting each week.
Efficiency and flexibility: Intensives are often a good fit when time is limited, schedules are complex, or a relationship needs focused attention sooner rather than later.
Deeper understanding of patterns: With sustained time, you can move beyond surface conflict to explore the emotional and relational dynamics that keep everyone stuck.
Space for repair and reconnection: The extended format allows time not just to identify problems, but to work through hurt, rebuild trust, and strengthen connection safely.
An intensive can be especially helpful when relationships feel stuck, emotions escalate quickly, or when you want clarity, relief, and forward movement without waiting months for change.

I work with couples and families in a practical, down-to-earth way that’s focused on clarity, movement, and meaningful change. Every relationship system is unique, so I tailor sessions to your goals, patterns, roles, and communication styles.
I draw from several approaches to help couples and families navigate challenges:
Relational focus:
I help individuals, partners, and family members understand how they connect and interact, identifying patterns that interfere with trust, closeness, boundaries, or healthy communication.IFS / IFIO-informed:
I explore the different “parts” or inner voices each person brings into the relationship or family system, supporting greater understanding of reactions, roles, and choices—without blame or judgment.Somatic techniques:
I incorporate gentle body-awareness strategies to help individuals stay grounded, regulated, and present during emotionally charged conversations.EFT-informed:
I support couples and families in expressing emotions safely, strengthening emotional bonds, and navigating conflict with empathy and responsiveness.Together, these approaches help couples and families:
Communicate more honestly and effectively
Gain clarity about needs, roles, and relational patterns
Strengthen connection while improving boundaries
Make thoughtful decisions about repair, change, or next steps
I bring curiosity, humor, and a direct style to sessions so the work feels focused, safe, and productive. My goal is for couples and families to leave with practical insight, clear next steps, and a stronger sense of direction.
