Common Questions

How do I know if you’re a fit?

Therapy is a deeply personal process, and finding the right therapist matters. You may not know right away, but a good fit often feels like emotional safety. A sense that you can be yourself, even if you’re still figuring things out. I invite you to notice how you feel during and after your first session: Do you feel seen, supported, or gently understood?

I also offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions, get a feel for style, and decide whether it feels like a space that could support your healing.

Do you take insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider in the state of California. I can provide monthly super-bills that you can submit to insurance, and I’m more than happy to walk you through the process of determining what kind of reimbursement you might be eligible for. I also reserve a limited number of reduced-fee slots for clients with financial need. Please reach out to discuss current availability.

In Nevada, I’m in-network with the following:

  • Optum

  • UMR

  • UnitedHealthcare

  • Aetna

  • BCBS
